Blue Ridge Pottery Pattern Identification
Apple Trio

A deep red apple pattern than can be distinguished from other apple patterns by the round 'swirl' effect in the painting of each apple on the pieces with a flat surface -- on curved surfaces such as the cups, the apples appear to be painted with three brush strokes. The larger pieces have the 'trio' of apples; smaller pieces may have only one or two apples from the design. Leaves are dark green without any veins; the green of the leaves is sponged around the edges.
A handsomely designed and boldly painted pattern popular with collectors!
